Scallop Crochet: Headband Of The Day

Hello crocheters!! My first blog for this month is about scallop crochet. August time, new month, let's welcome with a fresh aura. Sharing a refreshing blue scallop headband crochet. It is wearable and easy to make. If you know the scallop crochet pattern then it will be so easy for you to follow how I made it.

Scallop crochet is also perfect in edging and in other projects. You can always be creative.

Yarn (any color you want to use)
Sewing needle
Tapestry needle

Chain 72. Double crochet in the third stitch from the hook. Double crochet in the remaining stitches.

Single crochet in all stitches.

Now time for scallop. Single crochet. Skip one stitch. Five double crochet in the next stitch. And repeat it in all the stitches.

P.S. If you want to a have bigger scallop, you can use double and treble crochet.

Then almost done. Using tapestry needle sew the excess yarn at the back side of the headband.

For the strap, I used black lace. I attached it to the headband by sewing in both ends.

And finished. Ready to wear. Ready to add up to your fashion style.

Thank you for reading.
Happy crocheting!
